A bunch of sun-dried black pepper is arranged on top of Peppercorn Cookie. With nary an ounce of sweetness in her dough, she's become an incredibly spicy and boisterous Cookie. Peppercorn Cookie, who welcomes any kind of trouble, traveled across the sea before finally becoming a member of the Sneaky Sands Clan. Her shady exploits have become legends within the clan, from robbing traveling merchants to procuring rare artifacts in abandoned ruins. The Cookie is willing to take any jobs that pay enough. Rumor has it, however, that Peppercorn Cookie is actually looking for the traces of a runaway traitor of the clan! When not undertaking a job, the Cookie loves to relax under the shade of the trees with a cup of juice in her hand. But as soon as trouble appears, Peppercorn Cookie puts on her mischievous game face and hurries to the scene! Don't stand in her way, because if you do, she just might turn you into powder!

Personal opinion on the story (TL; DR: 4/10)

To start with, this is a terrible way to introduce a new character. Using a pre-established character(Chili Pepper Cookie) to prop up a new one sounds good on paper, but the story shows why these two aren't supposed to be a team. Chili Pepper Cookie repeatedly swindle and dupe Peppercorn Cookie several times throughout the story, resulting in Peppercorn taking a hit on her reputation and status(banished from the clan seems a pretty big deal). Chili Pepper Cookie and Peppercorn Cookie is an imbalanced dynamic favoring the former, making the story unbearable to read. It does not help that Chili Pepper Cookie is a flat character in itself, being a skilled thief that steals for the thrills, and yet this story does not give her any development beyond "here's Chili Pepper being a cool thief and duped even skilled assasins like Lilac!".
The first half of the story hooks the reader to Peppercorn Cookie's origin story, though centered around Chili Pepper Cookie. However, the second half of the story makes it clear that the writers had no clue what to do with the character. While it is already established that Peppercorn Cookie is loyal but gullible, she hasn't learn a thing throughout the story. Not even a single doubt pops up when Chili Pepper Cookie lets her go with the golden pot. This characteristic sets her as a foil to Centipede Cookie, her update partner. While Centipede is extremely paranoid for traitors, Peppercorn will help out even when betrayal would surely happen.
There is something that needs to be salvaged. Peppercorn Cookie, despite being a boisterous, trouble-seeking rogue, has the softest heart among the criminal roster, as Scorpion Cookie had noted. She also has this "big sister" energy going on, like her relationship chart and interactions with characters in this story implicates. That side of her needs to be explored AND narratively supported, as her kindness and her utmost loyalty in this story is abused by the narrative via Chili Pepper Cookie.
Overall, the story does an okay job at implicating depth of characters in Yogurca, but the second half of the story and the ending is repetitive and leave a bitter taste. Peppercorn Cookie is a wonderfully tragic character, both in-universe and real life, that needs a story centered on her without being a fodder for Chili Pepper Cookie. Yogurca is bountiful of environmental storytelling potential, if the writers are willing to expand beyond the criminal underbelly of the region.

Let's not forget about her Pet, too!
